TIM AYERS
Brother Ayers has wide preaching experience and has served as full-time minister for congregations in Texas and Arkansas. He was the local preacher for the Hwy. 95 church of Christ in Taylor, Texas for over ten (10) years, before moving to Austin to become a full-time faculty member. He completed his formal Bible education at the Southwest School of Bible Studies (Dipl.).
He is an experienced writer and served for a number of years on the editorial staff of several papers. His articles are published in various brotherhood publications. He has experience coordinating church lectureships and formerly served as the director of the Southwest Arkansas Lectureship, as well as the annual Taylor Lectureship.
He speaks on a number of lectureships throughout the brotherhood in addition to holding Gospel meetings throughout the region. He has had experience in TV and radio work and, for a number of years, wrote a well received weekly religious column in the local Taylor newspaper.

RICK BRUMBACK
Brother Brumback has experience in local work, and currently serves as the local minister for the Southwest congregation. He has taught Bible classes for college credit at the McCarty Student Center at Southwest Texas State University. He has spoken on a number of lectureships including the Southwest Lectures, the Denton Lectures and the Shenandoah Lectures. In addition, he has participated in a number of foreign evangelistic efforts.
He received his education from The University of Tulsa; Cornell University; and Washington State University. He is also a graduate of Southwest School of Bible Studies and Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary.
He is the editor of the Southwest congregation's weekly bulletin, The Southwesterner, as well as the monthly publication, The Christian Worker, which is also a work of the Southwest congregation. Brother Brumback also directs the Annual Southwest Lectureship, held in April of each year.

CARL GARNER
Carl Garner is an experienced educator and preacher. He has also served for a number of years as an elder. He is a graduate of Abilene Christian College ('58) and holds a graduate degree in education from North Texas State University. A specialist in Biblical Studies, he has completed additional graduate study at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
A veteran educator and Bible teacher, he formerly served as Director of the Bible Chair at Southwest Texas State University and at Navarro College.
He is a prolific writer and has published a number of articles in brotherhood periodicals, and, his written commentary on Bible texts have been published in selected lectureship books. In addition, he has produced Bible education materials for use in the local congregation. He speaks at a number of congregations each year and appears on lectureships annually. Brother Garner is an elder and preacher for the Dripping Springs church of Christ.

ALFONSO MACIAS
Alfonso Macias is an experienced preacher and teacher in both Spanish and English. He is a graduate of the Sunset Spanish School of Preaching ('86) as well as Southwest School of Bible Studies ('89). He received his formal education at Pan-American University.
A very capable evangelist among Hispanics, he preached for the Iglesia de Cristo in Clarksville, Texas for seven-and-one-half years. He currently preaches for Southwest Iglesia de Cristo.
He is a regular contributor of religious articles to The Southwesterner and his written commentary and topical writings have been published in lectureship books annually. He appears on several lectureships each year and has conducted a number of foreign evangelistic campaigns.

JOHN MOORE
John Moore is an experienced educator having served as Director of the Bible Chair at Southwest Texas State University. He received both undergraduate and graduate degrees from Southwest Texas State University and he has completed further graduate studies in New Testament and Greek language at Austin Theological Seminary and at Abilene Christian University. He has both a research and a teaching interest in Biblical Archaeology and has studied at Jerusalem University College in Israel. He has conducted on-sight field work throughout Israel.
He is a regular contributor of religious articles to The Southwesterner and his written commentary and topical writings have been published in lectureship books annually.
An effective preacher, he speaks for numerous congregations each year. He also appears on several lectureships each year. In addition, he is involved in mission work and has conducted a number of foreign evangelistic campaigns. Brother Moore serves as a preacher for the Dripping Springs church of Christ.

served the church since 1980. Sammie Grumbles has served as secretary
since 1984. Their friendly and familiar voices are well known
